HempWealth Farms Ltd is a wholly Ghanaian-owned company, incorporated in May 2024 to develop Ghana's industrial hemp industry through responsible cultivation, production and supply.
We focus on producing quality industrial hemp for pharmaceutical and other industrial applications, serving both domestic and international markets. With our planned cultivation project in the Ashanti Region, we aim to contribute to agricultural development, industrial innovation and economic growth.

Legal & Regulatory Framework
Responsible and compliant
The company identifies Ghana's Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019) as the legal foundation for industrial hemp cultivation. The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) regulates and licenses authorised cannabis-related activities.
- Industrial hemp must contain no more than 0.3% THC.
- Cultivation requires the appropriate licence.
- Processing, storage, transportation and export have separate regulatory requirements.
- Operators must comply with quality control, security and environmental requirements.
